Counsellor
Lisa Brink
Lisa is a BACP accredited counsellor working at a leading UK University and a large Further Education College as well as Metro Health and Wellbeing. She also undertakes regular Employee Assistant Programme (EAP) work.
Key skills:
Clinical key areas - main areas of expertise are anxiety, depression and relationship issues, but I have experience of working with a range of issues including stress, trauma, workplace issues, addiction, bullying/harassment, self-harm and bereavement/loss.
Communication - establishing rapport and developing relationships with a wide variety of clients and external agencies quickly and efficiently.
Delivering short term therapy - currently deliver therapy to clients on a time limited, often short term basis, incorporating CBT and person-centred counselling to deliver a therapy that best suits the client’s needs, whilst working in a solution focused way that is likely to benefit the organisation as well as the client.
Language skills - I am bilingual in both English and Swedish.
